Eyebrow Services

Eyebrow Mapping at Envy Esthetics, King of Prussia PA

Eyebrow Shaping

Our eyebrow shaping services offer a customized approach to achieving your ideal brow shape, whether you prefer waxing, threading, or tweezing. Each appointment begins with a consultation to understand your brow goals and history. Then, we move onto mapping out the brow shape that will best accommodate your goals and accentuate your facial features. For new clients, we recommend having at least 4 weeks of untouched hair growth for optimal results. Every brow service includes a trim, tweeze, and optional brow fill-in. Clients using Vitamin A, acne medication, or strong exfoliants (like AHAs/BHAs) should book threading or tweezing to prevent skin irritation or possible skin lifting. To resume waxing, you must discontinue the use of those products for 6-12 months.

Hybrid Brow Dye

This newly innovative product achieves similar results to that of henna.

Skin staining can last an average of 2-5 days depending on your skin type and routine. This option is best suited for those who love a fuller looking brow.

As for the hairs, a brow dye will stain the hairs for about 6-8 weeks but can be redone as often as every 4-6.

For a natural appearance, we choose a color that best matches your hair color.

We can also use a darker or lighter shade if preferred.

Our color palette includes various shades for blondes, brunettes, and redheads to ensure a perfect color match is achieved.

Eyebrow Lamination, Envy Esthetics, King of Prussia PA

Eyebrow Lamination

Wake up to beautifully groomed brows every day with a brow lamination! This treatment includes cleansing, brushing, shaping, and trimming to help achieve your ideal brow look. Brow lamination is perfect for taming longer, unruly brow hairs and can give the appearance of a fuller, more defined brow by relaxing and positioning each hair into place. A lamination is best suited for those with consistent brow hair growth, as it enhances density and shape. For new clients, we recommend a minimum of 6 weeks of untouched growth to achieve optimal results. Results typically last 6-8 weeks, depending on your natural hair growth cycle. Aftercare involves avoiding water, heat, and humidity for 24 hours following the treatment to preserve your look. *Not sure if brow lamination is right for you? Book a brow shaping service or an in-person consultation, and we’ll help you determine the best option for your unique brows!*

  • What is eyebrow mapping, and why is it included?
Eyebrow mapping is a technique we use to determine the best shape for your facial features. By outlining key points based on your facial structure, we ensure symmetry and a shape that flatters your features, creating a cohesive look with every eyebrow appointment.
  • How long does eyebrow waxing/threading/tweezing last?
Results from waxing/threading/tweezing typically last anywhere between 2 to 6 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle. Because threading removes hair from the root, it usually takes longer for hair to regrow compared to surface-level removal methods like shaving or dermaplaing the eyebrows.
  • What’s the difference between a new client and a returning client?
A new client is someone who is visiting for their first eyebrow service or someone who has not had a brow appointment with us in over three months (or 12 weeks.) A new client appointment allows for an in-depth consultation, expert brow mapping, and a fully customized approach to shaping your brows. We’ll also include a trim and, if desired, a brow fill-in with a product demo. Returning clients who book within a three-month window typically receive a more streamlined service, as their brow shape has already been established.
  • What is eyebrow threading?
Eyebrow threading is a hair removal technique that uses a thin cotton thread to twist and glide along unwanted brow hair, removing it from the root. It allows for precise, symmetrical shaping without using any chemicals or wax. If you're thinking where is "the best eyebrow threading near me?”, look no further than Envy Esthetics in King of Prussia, PA.
  • Does threading hurt?
Threading is generally considered a gentle process, though some clients may feel a slight pinch or tug. Sensitivity varies from person to person, but some say threading tends to be less painful than other hair removal methods like waxing or tweezing.
  • Is threading safe for sensitive skin?
Yes, threading is safe for most skin types, including sensitive skin. Since no chemicals or hot wax are involved, it reduces the risk of irritation, breakouts, or allergic reactions.
  • What is an eyebrow lamination and how does it work?
An eyebrow lamination is a treatment designed to tame unruly or sparse brow hairs by relaxing them into a smooth, uniform shape. During the process, your brows are cleansed, shaped, and trimmed to your desired look. A gentle, skin-safe perm solution is applied to soften and reposition the hairs, giving the illusion of fuller, well-groomed brows that stay in place for weeks.
  • Who is a good candidate for brow lamination?
Brow lamination is ideal for those with long, thick, or unruly brow hairs who want a more polished, uniform look. It also works well for those who want to add the appearance of fullness to sparse brows. However, it's not recommended for clients with significant brow thinning or sparse areas, as it may accentuate those spots.
  • How long does brow lamination last?
Brow lamination typically lasts 6-8 weeks, depending on your natural hair growth cycle. The results will gradually fade as your hair grows out.
  • What aftercare is required for brow lamination?
To maintain your brow lamination, avoid getting your brows wet or exposing them to high heat or humidity/steam for the first 24 hours after the treatment. This helps the hairs set in place and don't return to their original state. This ensures longer-lasting results.
  • Can I still use brow makeup after lamination?
Yes! You can still use brow makeup like pencils, pomades or gels after the treatment. However, many clients find that they need less makeup since the lamination helps define and hold the brows in place.
  • Can I get brow lamination if I’ve had other brow treatments?
Yes, a brow lamination can be done after brow shaping or tinting. In fact, a brow lamination service includes shaping (via wax/thread/or tweezing) to help define your brows. If you'd like, you can also add a brow dye to further enhance the color and fullness of your brows. For the best results, it’s recommended to allow your brows to grow out for at least 6 weeks before booking a lamination appointment, as this gives us the fullest canvas to work with.
  • Can I do brow lamination if I’m pregnant?
We recommend consulting with your doctor before undergoing any brow treatment during pregnancy, as some individuals may be more sensitive to the solutions used.
  • Will brow lamination work on thin or sparse brows?
Brow lamination can help give the appearance of fuller brows, but it’s not a substitute for brow growth treatments. If you have very thin or sparse brows, you may not achieve the same results, and it could highlight areas of thinning. For better results, we recommend using a brow growth oil to help stimulate hair growth before your lamination. You can try our Nourishing Brow Growth Oil, designed to nourish and promote healthy growth for thicker, fuller brows.
  • What should I do if I’m not sure if lamination is right for me?
If you’re unsure whether brow lamination is the best option for you, schedule a brow shaping service or an in-person consultation with us. We’ll assess your brows and help determine the ideal treatment to achieve your desired look.
  • What is hybrid brow dye and how does it work?
Hybrid brow dye is a newer, more advanced brow tinting option that provides similar results to henna. It stains both the skin and brow hairs, offering a fuller, more defined appearance that can last for weeks. Skin staining typically lasts up to 2-5 days, and the dye on your brow hairs up to 4-7 weeks.
  • Can I customize the color of my hybrid brow dye?
Yes! We customize the color to best match your natural hair and brow shade. If you prefer a darker or lighter look, we can adjust the color to your liking. We offer a variety of shades for blondes, brunettes, and redheads to ensure the perfect match.
  • Is hybrid brow dye right for me if I have sensitive skin?
Hybrid brow dye is generally well-tolerated by most skin types. However, if you have extremely sensitive skin or a history of allergic reactions to hair dye, it's important to note that you may be allergic to the hybrid brow dye as well. We recommend scheduling a patch test prior to the full treatment to ensure there are no adverse reactions. If you experience any irritation or discomfort after the patch test, you may not be suitable for this service.
  • Can I still use brow makeup after my hybrid brow dye service?
Yes! While hybrid brow dye gives a fuller appearance, you can still use brow makeup, like pencils or gels, to enhance or define your brows further if desired. Many clients find they need less makeup once the dye has been applied.
  • How do I care for my brows after a hybrid brow dye treatment?
To extend the life of your hybrid brow dye, avoid touching or rubbing your brows excessively. Also, avoid getting them wet for the first 24 hours after the treatment, as this helps to set the color. For longer-lasting results, avoid using harsh cleansers or exfoliants directly on the brows.
